Samantha was born and raised in Lexington, KY, and could not imagine receiving her college education anywhere other than the University of Kentucky. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science and her doctorate in physical therapy there.
Sam enjoys practicing the McKenzie method with patients suffering from disorders of the spine, and is continuing her education on this technique through specialized courses. She also has an abundant interest in preventative rehabilitation, particularly with young athletes, to reduce their risk of injury, given the competitive nature of sports nowadays.
Sam lives in Nicholasville, KY, with her husband, Andrew, her son, Henry, and their two dogs, Penny and Luke. She enjoys staying physically fit by running and weight training.
