Whether you are a professional athlete, high school athlete or a weekend warrior, PPT is proud to offer a Sports Performance Program designed specifically for the athlete and their sport. Contact sports are not the only sports that can lead to injury. Golf, swimming, soccer, ballet are also one of many strenuous sports that can leave your body injury prone.
Our therapists work with athletes to maximize their performance and to help prevent future injuries. Our trained and certified Physical Therapists will focus on muscular balancing and movement mechanics to help improve strength, range of motion, balance, posture, flexibility, mechanics, coordination, endurance and overall mobility. Each sport requires different types of conditioning, and we help specialize the program to fit your needs as an athlete.
What is involved in The Sports Performance Program?
- Sport-specific evaluation by a Physical Therapist
- Determination of sport specific requirement for optimal performance
- Treatment will progress the imbalanced body to a balanced system that will help prevent injuries and take the athlete to a higher level of performance
